Julie Guy joined the Illinois Public Pension Fund Association in 2011, bringing with her experience in marketing, event planning and management. In her role as General Manager, she organizes the educational events for the IPPFA including the Illinois Pension Conference, MidAmerican Pension Conference, seminars, and online courses. Julie oversees the day to day operations of the IPPFA as well as member recruitment, HR & financial matters and marketing and social media.
Before coming to the IPPFA, Julie was the Marketing Coordinator for a large mortgage company for 5 years. During that time, she organized many events throughout the Fox Valley Area. Before working in marketing, Julie worked for Community Consolidated School District 54 for 12 years as the Personnel Manager and Payroll Coordinator.
